ICED SERIES (In KU for a Limited Time!)
The Iced series follows the players of the Austin Amurs. hockey team. The first book in the series, Hooking is Alex Kosinski's story. If you loved the DSMC Texas series, Alex is Truth's little brother. This series will also include Kristoffer, the team captain, Jordan the goaltender, Dmitry who is Kira's (Voodoo) brother and Jericho Baranov, her cousin.
Hooking
Hooking: When a player impedes the progress of an opponent by “hooking” him with his stick.

I’m Alex Kosinski, left wing for the Austin Amurs. Hooking was my penalty. It’s never something I set out to do, but it happens. After all, it’s hockey.

Hockey is life. Getting traded was a kick to the nuts, but at least I was still playing. It was all that mattered.

Our relationship was forbidden, but I didn’t care—I hadn’t run from a fight yet.

I had her right where I wanted her, until everything crashed around me. My past came back to bite me in the ass and I was faced with getting kicked off the team. Now, I’m trying to pick up the goddamn pieces.

Tripping
Tripping: When a player trips an opposing player with their stick, or uses their skate against the other player's skate, causing them to lose balance or fall and obstruct them from making their desired play.
I’m Cameron McGregor, center for the Austin Amurs. Tripping is my penalty. I don’t set out to do it, but it still lands me two minutes in the box every time.
Hockey is my life blood. I eat, sleep, and bleed hockey. Being chosen to play for the Amurs was a dream come true. Money, hockey, and women. I didn’t need anything else.
Until Bleu.
She hated hockey players, but I didn’t care—come hell or high water, I was going to change her mind.
I had her convinced to let me in before I messed up. It looked bad; I can’t lie. Then, instead of fixing it, I made it worse. Now I have to find a way to get her back.
I’m not going to walk away from what I love. I want it all. Because it turns out I need her as much as hockey—she tripped me good.
Roughing
Roughing: Called when a player strikes another opponent in a minor altercation that the referee determines is not worthy of a major penalty.
I’m Kristoffer Halvorson, right wing and team captain for the Austin Amurs. Roughing is my penalty. It’s not like I plan to do it, but hockey is a rough sport.
Hockey is everything. From the minute my four-year-old feet hit the ice, I was all in and it hasn’t changed since. Nothing else matters as long as there’s a stick in my hands and a puck in my sights.
Until Zoey.
She was my friend’s girl, and even though he’s gone, she should be off-limits.
Except I took her into my home, married her, and promised to take care of her. Little did I know, she came with more baggage than either of us expected—and I’m not just talking about the baby she’s carrying. Now I’m mixed up in something so dark it may end not only my career, but my life.
I’ll pull out all the stops to protect what’s mine. Things are about to get rough, but I’m not letting her go.
Holding
Holding: When a player grabs another player’s body, sweater, or stick, to prevent them from getting to the puck.
I’m Jordan Beck, goaltender for the Austin Amurs. Holding is my penalty. In my defense, if they get in my crease, they’re fair game.
Hockey runs in my blood—literally. Four generations of hockey gives me damn near royalty status, but it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Living up to legends can be exhausting. It can also make it difficult to trust women and their motives.
Until Blair.
She had no idea who I was and adamantly refused a relationship—it was perfect.
What sounded good in the beginning, quickly got muddled and before I knew it we had crossed more lines than an iced puck. Then it all went to sh*t when my ex showed up with my baby on the way. Thinking I was doing the right thing, I ended things with Blair.
Worst mistake ever—I’m miserable. My game is suffering, my team is pissed at me, and I’m on the chopping block if I can’t pull out of it. If I can find a way to get her back, I’m holding onto her with both hands.
Fighting Love
Fighting: Engaging in a physical altercation with an opposing player, usually involving the throwing of punches with gloves removed or worse.
I’m Mikko Heikkinen, winger for the Austin Amurs. Fighting is my penalty. I’m not a violent guy, but I won’t let someone push me around.
Hockey is not only my job, it’s my first love. Nothing comes between us.
Until Sutton.
From two different worlds, we met on a plane. I was going home to Finland in the off season, she was on her honeymoon. Alone.
I didn’t expect to see her again. Yet fate had other plans. Unable to deny the chemistry between us, we decided on one rule—don’t get attached. Unfortunately, I’m known for breaking the rules.
I’m going to make her mine and I plan to pull out all the stops. I’ve never backed down from a fight and I sure as h*ll don’t plan to now.
